The T90 is a state of the art CNC lathe.  Using floppy disk storage, the need for a timber original or a metal template of the component (stair posts, chair or table legs, etc.) is eliminated.perfect for base ball bat making ,bats in 40 to 60 sec ea.

The graphic creation and storage of the profile can be produced very quickly directly on the control panel of the machine or on any desktop PC, thanks to Centauro’s dedicated software.  Commercially available CAD software may also be used, giving the buyer three ways in which to produce the graphic image.DOWNLOAD DEMO VIDEO MPEG HERE

The T90 and T90/S are CNC lathes which store, on a floppy disc, the profile of the component to be produced (stair posts, chair or table legs etc.) removing the need for a timber original or a metal template. The graphic creation and storage of the profile is made quickly on any desk PC thanks to our dedicated software or directly by the computer on board the machine.
The control computer also stores the optimum cutting data, i.e. saddle speeds, the number of needed passes as well as the position of any dowels.
Due to the precision re-circulating ball and screw drive to the X and Y axis, the movement and speed of the tool saddle can be very accurately controlled thus giving excellent quality and definition to the turned workpiece.
As the T90 and T90/S may be re-set between different components in an extremely short time, many different turnings may be produced in one working shift. This unique ability to produce short batches of many different designs, reduce “work in progress” stocking costs substantially.
Thanks to the optional hopper feed that automatically loads timber blanks, continuous uninterrupted production runs are also possible.

• 10 HP spindle motor with speed variable from 0 to 4500 rpm.
• Displayed and programmable spindle speed with correction keys active during machining.
• Electronic spindle braking with acceleration/deceleration ramps.
• Mobile control panel with additional controls for X - Y axis movement (further to axis setting on TRIA 4000 control), potentiometer for adjustments to saddle feed speed and emergency button.
